You may be lucky one of those lucky people who is at their target body fat percentage and weight for race season. If you’re not, and want to lose weight how are you going to go about achieving it?
Many athletes I work with know that they need to shed some body fat and what weight they need to get to, but finding the motivation to get there is difficult.
If you win the lottery and you don’t have the mindset of a rich person, you will lose all the money that you won. Your relationship with food needs to have the right mindset too. You need to develop a positive mindset and philosophy about your relationship with food so that when you make the right choices you feel good about yourself.
In this short video, I’ll share with you 5 tips to help you get your mindset sorted so you are motivated to become leaner, lighter and faster
Which tip did you find most helpful? I like to plan, so tip number 4 really helps me keep on track. I make a meal plan every Sunday evening for the week and then from that I can plan my shopping list. It means I keep the rubbish food out of my kitchen and it means I don’t have to think about what to eat in the evening as I already know.
If you haven’t already done so, grab a pen and paper now and work back through the 5 tips capturing your thoughts and actions for each one . I know that by doing this, you will get to your optimal racing weight and go faster at your next event.
I’d love to hear about your progress or answer any questions you may have in my Facebook community EATING TO WIN
